Fara Palmer wins FAITA
FARA PALMER WINS 2008 FAITA AWARD
Fara Palmer was nominated for a JUNO for her album Phoenix. She was up for the Best Aboriginal Album. Here she is after the Awards with K-os.  Fara and K-OSFara Palmer with K-OS at Juno Awards Party Fara did not win the JUNO but had good news the day after the Awards Ceremony. Here is what Fara had to say "Guess what? So like the day after my Juno loss, I check in to my email and find out that i WON the award for "Outstanding Musical Achievement In A Contemporary Field" for the 2008 FAITA awards. FAITA stands for "First Americans In The Arts" and is based out of Los Angeles. So not sure yet, but may be heading to L.A.
